Starring Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers, Mario Fabrizi & Dick Lester with David Lodge, Leo McKern & Graham Stark.
Devised by Peter Sellers, Directed by Dick Lester.
It was filmed over two Sundays in 1959, at a total cost of seventy pounds – including five pounds for the rental of a field.
Three years later, Lester directed The Beatles in ‘A Hard Days Night’ and the rest is history.
